Berkeley, California -- In order to improve coaching in Futsal® (Five-a-Side Soccer), U.S. Futsal has teamed up with Futsal Training Systems LLC, and will launch a new and exciting online service for coaches and players in 2008. FutsalTrainingSystems.jpg Online subscribers will be receiving a series of monthly playlists and can elect to receive individualized tactical offensive and defensive plays specific to a coach's needs.   The U.S. Futsal President & CEO Alex J.C. Para signed the agreement in February 2008, and expects the system to be fully-functioning by the 23rd Annual National Futsal Championship in July.

Futsal is a five-a-side version of soccer for competition played on basketball-sized courts, both indoors and out without the use of sidewalls. This exciting and fast- paced sport traces back to 1930s and today is played worldwide at every level. The U.S. Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) and U.S. Futsal signed an agreement in August of 1995 and in 1999 to promote Futsal as their indoor game of choice under the auspices of U.S. Futsal.
